Lost Friendships
Friends... one of the most important aspects of your life in means to help you through to toughest and best times in your life.
When everyone tells you- Choose your friends wisely it never really occurred to me to even think that I choose my own friends.
I feel like friends show up out of the blue, in a time that is completely unexpected.
As I am now in college I look back to my past and remember all of the friends who have come and gone in my life throughout elementary school, work, traveling, friends of friends and high school. The good and the bad, some friends help you through hard times at the exact moment that you need them and then disappear, others teach you a lesson for life, others make you the saddest you have ever been, you keep some and you drop the rest of them, or they just slowly fade away due to things in common.
I have never been a person to keep a large group of friends, I find the larger the group of friends the less of a connection you can create with them and usually they aren't friends there more on the lines of acquaintances.
Friends are a building block to the back bone of the person you become. Everyone an judge you through your friends, you develop traits from your friends, slang, and things you like to do from your friends most of the time unless you are more extroverted and develop yourself and you rub onto your peers.
I started this entry because of old lost friends I have had, yes I miss them everyone has friends that they wish they could bring back into their lives. But you need to look passed the past. Sometimes time just drives you apart, maybe something occurred in the friendship that it was no longer worth it. Either way, don't resent that person they are a part of you they have shown you something and you have grown into the person you are today.
Be happy with yourself, friends that stay will be there for you through thick and thin.
