How often do high school relationships last after high school finishes?

High school relationships are all different. High school is known for being one of the most rememberable experiences in your life. It is a unforgettable with many memories of your teenage life whether they be bad, good or a mix of both. Unfortunately this doesn't last forever. The friendships, boyfriends/girlfriends, drama and etc has to be left behind to make way for the rest of your own life. Many of the relationships made end up fading away just because of the different variety of paths each student takes. There is no one to blame, this is just life. Plans change when we take our own paths. Although sometimes this is not the case. The friendships and memories always last but it all depends on the students whether they stay close with these friendships or move on with new friendships after high school. Many of these individuals keep contact with the more closer individuals they have made in high school. They possibly plan dates where they get together or plan a big get together for a bigger group. The point is, these friendships are not lost... they always last. The memories these students go through in their high school years are never lost. Everyone goes their own paths to success and it is not necessarily a bad thing that some friends have lost contact with them. This just means that they are heading to their future and hopefully it's the right path for them. "Success is a journey, not a destination." Ben Sweetland.

great article

I was just thinking about this. I'm in third year and I miss all my friends from high school. I wish that we didn't separate but that is what happens if you move away from school. I don't find my unviersity friends as easy to get close to and I kind of just hang out there on my own.
