The Frugal Fashionista
Hi Chikitas
This is Alex C from Milton, Ontario. I just finished high school and am going to school for nursing. Trying to save for school, I've always been into finding ways to save money but still look good and have your own style.
One of my favorite things to do is turn old "not so new" jeans into trendy, hot looks.
So check this out... it's simple and you can be as creative as you want. Here are the four easy steps to making your own jeans.
1. purchase at your local goodwill or go into mom's closet and pick out a pair of jeans that fit you (baggy or tight-- it doesn't matter!)
2. Cut out patches and make rips in any areas you choose
3. Take either bleach (be careful!) or fabric paint and decorate in any way that you like with symbols or pictures.
4. Last step is to add buttons or material that you can cut out and sew wherever you like.
Have fun and enjoy!
Peace and blessins
Alex C
