When I got close to the end of high school, I realized that I had to figure out pretty quickly how to save money to buy the stuff I wanted and keep up with school, car and phone bill expenses. My phone bill was probably the thing that was most out of control for me as I was calling home a lot to my friends in Europe. You can imagine how expensive that was!
