"If You Really Knew Me, You'd Know..."
If someone asked you to finish the statement "if you really knew me, you'd know..." what would you say? If you could be honest with your friends and family about how you were really feeling, would you tell them what you were scared of? What you were sad or worried about?
What you thought about yourself that others might not know? What would people be surprised to find out about you? What is something that even your best friends don't know about you? if you really knew me you'd know that usually i look like i've got it all together, but that's not always the truth. a lot of times i wonder about if i'm doing the right thing with my life, or if i'm making the right choices with jobs or relationships. a lot of times i feel like i'm the only one that worries about this stuff, until i talk with my friends and find out they're all as scared and unsure of it as i am. and if you really knew me you'd know i have a hope stronger than all the questions running through my head.

if you really knew me, you'd know that i'm super insecure and i'm really my own worst enemy. you'd see that i hate the way i think. you'd see that i get myself angry and frustrated. you'll see that at times i hate myself to the point of destruction. but you'd see that i have a drive like few people on this earth, where i WILL do something if that's what i'm set on. you'll see that i make my dreams come true. you'll see that i smile easily and i appreciate every single little thing. you'll see that i put everyone first because i want to save the world.

If you really knew me you'd know that behind my smiling, happy face I'm scared and insecure. If you really knew me you'd know that even though I love my best friends I secretly resent them. If you really knew me you'd know that even though I have lots of friends I often feel left out and lonely. If you really knew me you'd know that even though I like to be independent I still want to be loved and cared about.

and if you really knew me, you know that i've earned the smile I wear on my face every single day. you would know that i've been through so much sorrow and pain. so many obstacles to jump. and if you reallly knew me, you would know that I don't regret any of the hurt . its what made me who I am. <3

If you really knew me, you know that I'm really sad sometimes, i feel alone. especially since I to go through a divorce. But because of great friends I'm happier:)
